In a slightly deja vu wekend, I was back again at one of my favorite spots, Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington CT. Stephanie and Brett has the most marvelous day for an out door event – with pitch-perfect weather and nearly zero humidity. The group got ready at the Mystic Marriott and Spa in Groton to start off the day…
how smart are thee super-practical slippers rather than dealing with heels at a winery and in the grass??!! Also check out the personalized hangers for everyones dresses–COOL!
my pal Dave Noonan was on hand to help and popped in to see what the Gentlemen were up to
I love this because it’s so abstract, something i didn’t even entirely notice while I was shooting it!
over at J. Edwards - things were buzzing with preparations for the day
the fellas were kicking back with some white wine keeping Brett company while we waited to do the First Look
Stephanie put a lot of thought into her wedding day details, and she and A Thyme To Cook pulled off some beautiful particulars
ahhhh yes, the backlight was just amazing–
Marie Tyler Wiley oversaw the ceremony
I always love heading over to where the tractors are when i have time at this winery. As i mentioned the other day on facebook, theres nothing better than putting a bride in a dress in a spot she is not ‘supposed’ to be in!! Thanks to Dave Noonan for this image!
the super cool details continued, needless to say inside the tent!
I know I probably over shot that fork and knife (sorry) , but i thought it was a really neat idea I had never seen before!
see? again. There I go with the fork and knife…
and we wrapped thing up with a candy bar for everyones late night sweet-tooth!
thanks so much guys for a fabulous day and for being so much fun to hang out with and shoot! Thanks as well to a Thyme To Cook for taking good care of us, Geoff Boka of The Light Mill for video and plenty of laughs and Erica at Jonathan Edwards for making sure the day ran smoothly.
